Muslim beheading cover-up in New York?
Why didn’t this make national headlines?
NEW YORK (Reuters) – The founder of a U.S. Muslim television network has been arrested and charged with murdering his wife by beheading her, the network’s Web site and local media reported.
Muzzammil Hassan, founder and CEO of Buffalo, N.Y.-based Bridges TV which launched in 2004 with a mission to show Muslims in a more positive light, was charged after reporting the death of his wife, Aasiya Hassan, 37, on Thursday night.
After Hassan, 44, told police his wife was at the Bridges TV offices, in the village of Orchard Park, they found her body there, beheaded, The Buffalo News reported.
Authorities said Aasiya Hassan, with whom Hassan had two children, had recently filed for divorce and had an order of protection mandating that he leave their home as of February 6.
He was being held in a county detention centre charged with second-degree murder.

I’m really sorry that it didn’t this make national headlines.this event proves how dangerous religion could be–brainwashed man murdered his wife only because of his religious beliefs.I can understand him if he tried to hide body and get away from it, but he went to police and confessed–so his natural self-preservation instincts are suppressed by religion.
I intentionally use religion instead of Islam–it is true for every religion.

What does him being a Muslim have anything to do with it? He killed a woman, it doesn’t mean he represented his religion. Islam is a peaceful religion. If some American commits a murder, I don’t see people calling him a Christian/Jew/Buddhist, etc murdering people.

It is being covered up because islam threatens people who claim ( truthfully ) that islam is violent. Apparently newscasters do not want to be beheaded.
In Islam law ( sharia law ) violence toward women and children is encouraged and legal. Even sex with day old babies is permited by sharia law but they don’t call it rape ..they call it legal but if someone outside of islam does it..they are rapists and evil. According to islamic law only a muslim is an innocent being. NO KIDDING. The scriptures that hebrews and christians use .. are not at all islamic and teach over millenia that the human must evolve in thinking away from violent anarchy and into self control before God. Him being Muslim is quite relevant. Beheadings seem to be done by Muslims only.
This is not his first marriage. I assume he divorced his first wife or worse. Now that his wife wanted a divorce he did not think that was appropriate.
That holy book of theirs is extremely tainted. You would think that a holy book would be written in such a way that there is no interpretation necessary. I guess their god was not all that literate or was that Mo that was not all that literate.
I know the christian book is not much better. I have similar sentiments about the bible as I have about the Qur’an.

If this is being covered up, exactly how did you get a link to an international news agency reporting it? that he is Muslim would not be relevant if he had not made a profession of distributing propaganda about the supposed peacefulness of Islam. Since he did, it is.

When I read statements like the above, I truely wish there was a hell even though there isnt, because such people would surely merit its lowest rungs.
The beheading has everything to do with his religion. Absolutely everything! First of all, the specific manner of execution comes directly from the Quran. Second of all, the "right" to physically harm woman who dont obey is specifically authorized by the Quran.
Outside of what the Quran calls for, we know that honor killings is a problem almost exclusively found in the Islamic world. Islamic culture puts insane "keeping your honor" requirements on woman and give men the right to enforce these absurdities.
This has absolutely everything to do with islam. In Islamic countries, this is part of the landscape, but this happened in America so it garners a little more attention. Even still, the story is largely supressed by the specter of political correctness and Islamic censorship.
