Why is WWE still screwing up?
I read and copied this on a wrestling site and I thought this was a little crazy,
The Wrestling Observer is reporting that WWE still intends to launch its own network, and hopes to launch it within the next 18 months. In addition to wrestling content, it’s being said that WWE wants to run original, non-wrestling related content as well.
What in the blue heck is Vinnie Mac and WWE thinking?
does this mean USA and My Network TV will no longer air Raw and Smackdown? if that’s the case then WWE really does suck,
I mean its not enough that they got rid of Chair shots (I say they got rid of chair shots cause now I bet wrestlers are scared to even pick up a chair cause of the no shot to the head rule)
Also they changed every WWE PPV name besides Mania and Summerslam,
Also Money In The Bank Match is going away after WrestleMania is over and its just going to be a PPV,
WWE is still TV PG,
So my question is why is WWE corporations/Vinnie Mac/WWE fans going along with all this crap?
cus they are taargeting the kid demographic 6-12

1) The new network will not show RAW, Smackdown! and so on but what they will show is like PPV re-runs, classic RAW and Smackdown! episodes etc. etc. Maybe something like WWE Superstars will go to that network but none of the big stuff.
2) Getting rid of chair shot was just plain stupid. Why not just teach the athletes to shield their head when a chair shot is luming? Pathetic.
3) The PPV name changes is just absurd…I dont think theres another word for it… Maybe if they’d show a bit more blood, exciting matches and storylines leading up to the PPV then maybe, the buy rates would be much higher.
4) MITB is one match fans look forward to at ‘Mania! Why make a PPV for that?! Stupid – again!
Next they’ll be a "This Bout Is Set For One Fall" live only on PPV!
5) I am just growing sick and tired of WWE’s TV-PG programming…sure its good money but come on…what about the real fans? I’m not asking for the Attitude Era again but at least TV-14:DLV! Is that too much to ask? I just hope they come to their sense sooner rather then later. Even I’m starting to watch TNA on a regular basis now, record RAW and I basically just watch that on fast-forward x2, its just become too predictable.

First of all,what’s so wrong with WWE getting rid of chair shots? View it as a bad thing all you want but your not the one who has to take that.I think it’s good they removed that for less concussions and other sorts of injuries.Second,I’ll agree that some of the new PPV names are corny but there’s nothing we can do about it.Third,I didn’t hear about them removing Money In The Bank but if that’s true then they’ll still survive like they did before 2005 when that match debuted.And fourth (this is my favorite),WWE HAS ALWAYS been PG.Look at this rating starting from 3:29:

To answer your question,I don’t know why Vince wants to do non-related wrestling content besides the fact that he’s trying to attract a different audience,but it just sounds unrealistic in my opinion,especially for the main wrestling fans.But he wants to do it though,so let’s hope that it isn’t as bad as Hornwoggle’s airtime was.

who cares if its only on one channel? there is more PPVs that keeped there names yeah WWE is TV PG but that’sts so they’ll get more viewers(kids) i mean don’t tell me you wouldn’t do.there are chair shots, its just that they don’t have a lot of non DQ matches.
Well the reason WWE corporations/Vinnie Mac go along with this crap is because there the ones who do it, and the reasons the fans do is the next and only thing it TNA and they kinda suck, at least (they have a squared ring now instead of a stupid hexagon).
