Do you see the Anti-immigrant sentiment as racism disguised for 21st century consumption?

Are there any anti-immigration people out there that disagree and distance themseleves from this type of movement? Or are they running with it side-by-side?

Anti-immigrant Sentiment is Racism

Anti-immigrant sentiment is racism disguised for 21st century consumption. Now, not only the civil rights organizations are taking this seriously, but so are politically extreme anti-immigrant groups.

It is no coincidence that the Tea Parties Against Amnesty for Immigrants on Saturday, November 14, sparked significant dissent amongst anti-immigrant groups who are trying to save their reputation in the mainstream.

Jim Gilchrist calls the organizer of the Tea Parties, William Gheen and ALI-PAC, a group that “present themselves in a very physically hostile manner tantamount to racist groups like the KKK”. William Gheen, ignoring the charges and perhaps engaging in deflection, launched his own assault on neo-Nazis promoting his Tea Parties throughout the U.S.

Racism has a way of maneuvering itself in society. It finds a way to rear its ugly head. The anti-immigrant movement, with John Tanton and his network at the center, find new ways to insert racism in the mainstream. Once upon a time lies were spread that black people were scientifically inferior to white people. Now, the same people say that immigrants are the equivalent of an invading army of vermin.

I don’t think they were all about this kind of behavior. But now that so many racist group have used say, the internet to brain wash people, it’s really getting to be more about racism.

And this isn’t their way of trying to "kill" the anti-illegal-immigration movement????
The fastest way to slow the momentum is having a group fight the "tag" of racism, isn’t it!

Since when did someones immigration status become a RACE.
People are angry about illegal immigration. The gov isn’t trying to come up with a realistic solution.
They are trying to force the same old PLAN on us that calls for legalizing those already here.
The illegals that did not receive amnesty in 86′ did not leave the US, the Gov did not make them leave, so what did it solve. If they did not make those who didn’t qualify leave then what makes anyone think they will make those who don’t qualify this time leave??

Nope not at all. I do however I do see those that continue to blindly support illegal immigration while at the same time declaring those oppsed to illegal immigration as racists to be totally ignorant of the real world.

When will the worlds idiots stop trying to play the race card every time we want illegal immigration controlled.

If you call a group of people who want to stop the killing of thousands of innocent children in the US a bunch of racists, what do you call the people who want to help the people who are killing thousands of innocent children?
Did you know that the KKK and the Skin Heads both support an anti-child molestation stance? That must make them la razas best friend right? After all the three organizations all are anti-child molestation groups!

You keep leaving out information such as these. So how can they be a threat except in your own mind and the minds of others. Your sources are fear mongerers who would do and say anything to make it appear as facts. You spend time helping them out with their fear mongering.

The simplest and most blunt answer to your question is this: Illegals are NOT "Immigrants"!

Only the pro-illegal movement calls them this. Immigrants are those who are allowed to live here, legally, as authorized by the American People.

Breaking into a country and living there illegally does not make one an "immigrant", only a trespasser.

Well in your editorial it says the tea party are at odds because they have some that may be racist. So as you can see the Tea Party is taking action to stop it. They do not want to be seen with racists.

Now that we got that cleared lets compare that to LaRaza. They love to be racists and proclaim it loud and clear. They even host websites saying that they want to turn America into Aztlan.

    Radical ‘Reconquista’ Agenda

Behind the respectable front of the National Council of La Raza lies the real agenda of the La Raza movement, the agenda that led to those thousands of illegal immigrants in the streets of American cities, waving Mexican flags, brazenly defying our laws, and demanding concessions.

Key among the secondary organizations is the radical racist group Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano de Aztlan, or Chicano Student Movement of Aztlan (MEChA), one of the most anti-American groups in the country, which has permeated U.S. campuses since the 1960s, and continues its push to carve a racist nation out of the American West.

One of America’s greatest strengths has always been taking in immigrants from cultures around the world, and assimilating them into our country as Americans. By being citizens of the U.S. we are Americans first, and only, in our national loyalties.

This is totally opposed by MEChA for the hordes of illegal immigrants pouring across our borders, to whom they say:

"Chicano is our identity; it defines who we are as people. It rejects the notion that we…should assimilate into the Anglo-American melting pot…Aztlan was the legendary homeland of the Aztecas … It became synonymous with the vast territories of the Southwest, brutally stolen from a Mexican people marginalized and betrayed by the hostile custodians of the Manifest Destiny." (Statement on University of Oregon MEChA Website, Jan. 3, 2006)

    Now lets compare the 2

Tea Party = fighting to get rid of racists

La Raza = trying to recruit more racist groups into its organization.

Tea Party = Using its own money and money from U.S. Citizens who donate money to stop taxation without representation

La Raza = Using tax payer money to help bring in more Mexican Nationals into this country. The object is to establish a nation within a nation called Aztlan.

The list just goes on and on. If you look and compare the two with an open mind you can’t help but notice that La Raza is 100% far more racist then the Tea Party.

Now lets look at the people who support the Tea Party. Many are disappointed that there may be racists ( no proof though ) so they may stop sending them money.

Compare that to the La Raza supporters as they know La Raza is racist and they love it. They teach their children to hate whites and that this is their land. The more proof that La Raza is racist the more people of Hispanic descent that join.

So in the end I ask you who is far more racist?
