IDK Creep was … IDK Creep was alright, I know people say their recent albums arent as good, but i think theyre getting better and better although, i didnt really care for their last song, These are my Twisted words, it sounded like they were just messing around and not really trying to write a song, at least it was free so i really shouldnt complain
what a coupla weird … what a coupla weird lookin dudes. no offense, radiohead is great, and looks dont matter, thom york is great, but they just look so unique
I used to be a CD … I used to be a CD buyer. Now? off! My local shop sells: Robbie Williams, and the best of the 70’s. I know music is interpretational to each dissimilar listener, but thats just stupid. Theres all good music out there, and when there is music, it’s about rap stars singing how hard it is to be black in London. sake even HMV got rid of their: Hard Rock/Metal genre in the shop, to be replaced with bands like: Vampire Weekend and the ing Kooks. The ing Kooks? For sake.
the root of the … the root of the problem isn’t simply that people aren’t buying records; the root of the problem is the reason why people aren’t buying records. The record labels need to learn the lesson of trying to find innovative bands and not just the next-[insert popular band here]. That’s how events like the demise of alternative rock occurred in the 90’s when every label was trying to find the next Nirvana, and none of those bands make the same success. But the same thing keeps happening and no one learns
I think a big issue … I think a big issue is that record labels put out disposable music, as in it’s good for a few days because it’s catchy but after that the novelty wears off, while the good music that you keep on listening to is nowhere to be found.
they speak the … they speak the truth. i hope that one day people will always buy records, unfortunately i dont see it happening. lol i hope i leave oxford!!
yes, the record … yes, the record companys and regular stores with their websites are charging money for crappy music such as major label music, or disney or other televisoin sponsored pop stars like milry cyrus ( btw she hasent ruined radiohead yet, lol) but the point is, i eiter get it on the internet, or haul my off to a record store justto get a good radiohead or KOL record. its annnoying as
ill tell u why no … ill tell u why no one buys cds, theyre expensive, and there’s barely any good 1s, and the best records cant be found anywhere cuz walmart and target only have a small aisle of cds, and the few record stores we have charge you twice as much, its all bullshit
I hate his smugness … I hate his smugness over the piracy thing on the internet, it’s obvious that sales are going down ’cause people don’t want to pay for music.
I bet loads of you thumbs down me because I disagree but I’m definitely right.
record companies … record companies are dying…face it….radiohead just happened to be the right band, at the right moment in the right place with the right label…you cant expect a ing record companie just like you…specially in times like these, those who want to success TODAY are going to have to do it by themselves, they said the tour with label sucked, but they had to do it in order to do things independantly now, nothing is free in life.
The reason people … The reason people download music these days is the CD prices. Also with this recession it is only fueling more dowloaders to download albums for free. We all know that these record company excecutives take out big bonuses for their $100,000 cars, their kilos of cocaine, women, food, and etc. These kinds of people disgust me. Spending money carelessly when kids are starving in Africa. Good riddance to these record companies.
the point is they … the point is they are slagging off record companies when they said themselfs that they needed record companies at the beginning, its easy to act all worthy now they are successful.
