BastaDobbs.com Announces Victory: Lou Dobbs to Leave CNN
NEW YORK – Responding to the news Wednesday that Lou Dobbs will leave his post as a longtime anchor on CNN, the leaders of BastaDobbs.com – a national Latino-led coalition that had been advocating for his ouster – released the following statement:
“Our contention all along was that Lou Dobbs – who has a long record of spreading lies and conspiracy theories about immigrants and Latinos – does not belong on the ‘Most Trusted Name in News,’” said Roberto Lovato, co-founder of Presente.org, a national online advocacy organization coordinating the BastaDobbs.com campaign in conjunction with more than 40 local and regional Latino organizations from across the country. “We are thrilled that Dobbs no longer has this legitimate platform from which to incite fear and hate.”
The BastaDobbs.com campaign launched in mid-September, and included online petitions, a viral YouTube video, text-message campaign, radio PSAs and a series of events in 18 cities – organized in conjunction with the CNN special Latino in America. The message to CNN was that courting Latino viewers while keeping Dobbs on the network would not win them favor with the fastest-growing demographic in the country. Since then, more than 100,000 people have joined the effort. The events and the campaign garnered significant press coverage in both Spanish-language and mainstream media.

Watching Dobbs is the same thing as watching Hannity, Olberman, Maddow, and Glenn Beck. Watch one show and then all the others seem like reruns.

Lou Dobb’s EGO is too big for CNN
I was a long time listener
BUT
when he started shouting over guests he didn’t agree with and cutting them off and NOT allowing them to give their opinions AFTER he asked them to come on his show and do so
I JUMPED OFF THE BANDWAGON
if I want to hear blowhards that are rude to people and only want to push their own agenda
I can turn to FOX

THAT is the bigger headline. They didn’t get the moniker, "Clinton News Network" and now the "Commie News Network" for nothing.
I "trust" CNN to give "facts" as much as I trust Dan Rather.

Lou Dobbs was the last true journalist on CNN. His research was solid, and his delivery straightforward. This is a great loss for CNN, for journalism, and for the public. Now only PC and sanitized-for-sheeple-consumption pap is the garbage delivered and termed "news." Apologists for lawbreakers are preventing Americans from learning facts and truths as they disseminate their propaganda. The death of genuine factual reporting is the death of informed citizenry, and the death of informed citizenry is the death of liberty.

I feel sorry that I never tuned into Dobbs’s show, before he resigned. I have friends who like him, and I was curious as to if I would like him as well. I never knew what time he came on, though.
And of course Latinos are being heard- that’s nothing new… Jay Severin was suspended from his talk radio show for a month because of comments he made about illegal immigrants.

The only reason to watch that Communist Channel was Dobbs. Now that the liberal illegal lovers made him quit, there is no reason to watch that ILLEGAL LOVING CHANNEL.

I seriously doubt that some illegal immigrants forced CNN to fire Lou Dobbs. And I really hope that illegal immigrants are not the fastest growing demographic in the USA! Personally I don’t care for CNN, or any of their pundits, and quit watching them years ago. Whom are you now going to accuse of fear and hate? By the way — isn’t fear and hate exactly what you are practicing against people who don’t agree with you?

He was the only reason I tuned into CNN. The majority of the population agree with illegal is ILLEGAL! Frankly I don’t care what the racist pro illegal aliens think. Guess we’ll see what happens in 2012.
