    As someone who …
As someone who works in a radio newsroom today (yes, there are some left), this is a fascinating time capsule. With digital editing, and in many cases no unions, one person can do the work of the three or four shown here. Now, though, there is a lot of piggyback with TV. I know at ABC, TV reporters are required to file a radio piece. Could not help but chuckle at the “we don’t consider radio a stepchild” comment. We’ve come a long way since 1969, some good, some bad. Great video!!

    ABC Radio – …
ABC Radio – offering the best, fastest, and most responsible in Radio News Networking for nearly fifty years! Then Disney and one more good outfit bites the dust….so very sad.
