At a guess, your Hard Disk is toast ....

You can try a reformat, however why trust it ? if it's failed once, chances are it will go again & quite soon ..... get a replacement ASAP

PS driver problems can not stop a clean install :-)
References :
It is bcoz whhen you installed any new device driver i was not trusted or virus infected and damaged your windows system files and its registry. you only need a system restore. For start up repair to load a windows installation disc is required.

If you are able to boot in safe mode or safe mode with networking then do the following :

click on the start menu and type in the search field 'system restore' and open it

and choose the restore point time that was your system is fine then hit ok.

if windows says restore failed.

click on start menu and type in the search field 'repair' and you will see in results create a system repair disc and open it now choose the cd burning drive and insert the blank cd on thet drive and click create disc.

after creating the disc insert on the cd drive and restart windows now windows files will be loaded and start up repair starts now now it will detect all the system problems and and repair automatically

if in the process it will ask for restore the system then click on next.

after that maybe your system will be fine.

Thank You
